Many people will tell you never to get a credit card, however if you have enough self discipline, they can be the least expensive way to get credit.
For example, if you take out a typical loan, you will probably be paying a typical APR of around 7% and that would be a good rate. With alot of credit cards, you will be offered 0% APR for balance transfers and maybe even purchases too. More reciently, some cards offer 0% for the life of the balance.
